Fuel consumption represents an important part of our company’s expenditure (up to 25% from transportation costs).
We are interested in innovative solutions that potentially can help GEFCO to reduce the fuel consumption of our truck fleets.
CALL FOR INNOVATION
The Group is looking for innovative and operational solutions to reduce the truck fuel consumption. The proposed solutions should follow the next categories:
> Technical solutions for trucks improvements (engine efficiency, transmission...)
> Aerodynamics, air handling improvements and rolling resistance
> Vehicle usage patterns (eco-driving and predictive cruise control)
> Hybridisation and alternative fuel use
> Others
The solution must be quickly operational and the technology has to be in a pre- or commercial stage and already tested by customers with proven results.
